1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a booking request with True Travel Adventures, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all tours, activities, and services provided by True Travel Adventures.
If you are booking on behalf of a group, you accept these terms on behalf of all members of the group and are responsible for ensuring they are aware of and comply with these terms.
2. Booking & Reservations
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by True Travel Adventures. Submitting a booking request does not constitute a confirmed reservation.
A booking is only confirmed once you receive written confirmation from True Travel Adventures via email or WhatsApp. We reserve the right to decline any booking request at our discretion.
It is the guest's responsibility to provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking, including the number of guests, any special requirements, and correct contact details.
3. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking. A deposit may be required to secure your reservation, with the balance due prior to the tour date.
Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking. All prices are quoted in the currency confirmed at time of booking and are subject to change without notice prior to confirmation.
Full payment constitutes your agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
4. Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing via email to bookings@truetravelnam.net or via WhatsApp. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
The following cancellation schedule applies:
- 48 hours or more before tour: Full refund of deposit.
- 24 to 48 hours before tour: 50% of deposit is retained by True Travel Adventures.
- Less than 24 hours before tour or no-show: The full tour amount is forfeited — no refund will be issued.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 5–10 business days using the original payment method.
5. Tour Changes
True Travel Adventures reserves the right to alter, modify, or cancel any tour, itinerary, or activity due to weather conditions, safety concerns, operational requirements, or any other circumstances at our discretion.
In the event of a tour cancellation initiated by True Travel Adventures, we will offer guests either an alternative arrangement of comparable value or a full refund of amounts paid. True Travel Adventures will not be liable for any additional costs or losses incurred by guests as a result of such changes.
6. Health & Safety
Guests are required to inform True Travel Adventures of any medical conditions, disabilities, allergies, or dietary requirements at the time of booking. Failure to disclose relevant health information may affect your ability to participate in certain tours.
True Travel Adventures reserves the right to refuse participation to any guest who, in the reasonable opinion of our guides or staff, poses a risk to their own safety or the safety of others. In such circumstances, no refund will be provided.
Guests must follow all safety instructions given by True Travel Adventures guides and staff at all times.
7. Liability
True Travel Adventures is not liable for any loss, injury, damage, delay, or additional expense arising directly or indirectly from participation in our tours, except where such loss or injury is caused directly by our negligence.
Guests participate in all tours at their own risk. True Travel Adventures strongly recommends that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance prior to their tour, covering cancellation, medical expenses, and personal liability.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence.
8. Photography & Media
True Travel Adventures may photograph, film, or record tours and activities for use in our marketing materials, social media channels, and website. By participating in a tour, you consent to being included in such photography or footage.
Guests who do not wish to be photographed or filmed must notify True Travel Adventures in writing prior to the tour date. We will make every reasonable effort to honour such requests.
Guests are welcome to photograph and film for personal use. Please be considerate of wildlife, the natural environment, and other guests when doing so.
9. Force Majeure
True Travel Adventures shall not be liable for any failure to perform, or delay in performing, its obligations under these terms where such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Such circumstances include, but are not limited to: extreme weather events, natural disasters, acts of God, government restrictions or travel advisories, pandemics, civil unrest, or failure of third-party service providers.
In such cases, True Travel Adventures will endeavour to provide alternative arrangements or, where this is not reasonably possible, offer a credit or refund at our discretion.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Namibia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Namibia.
